Art Director Ashley Sako knows that great design can inspire, generate action and evoke emotion — that's why creating eye candy just isn't enough for this award-winning artist. Ashley's goal is to give Curve clients websites, logos, packaging and print pieces that are above and beyond anything the competition can dream up.

It's no longer just a pixel when Ashley gets a hold of it. Her vision, talent and technical skills allow her to create unique and refreshing pieces in a range of mediums. Since her reign as Art Director Extraordinaire, Ashley has helped shape and solidify the visual identity of many Curve clients. From retouching the tiniest detail on a photograph to designing a huge trade show booth for the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Ashley treats every project like her next masterpiece.

Before Curve snatched her up, Ashley honed her skills working for the Ann Arbor Art Fair and various departments at Eastern Michigan University. It was at EMU that she earned her Bachelors degree of Fine Arts and Graphic Design. She has also studied digital photography in Italy and graphic design in London.

Ashley lives in Ferndale with her fiancé, Scott, and their Cat Pack. When their forces combine, they create "Scooshley," a power couple that dominates in their competitive cornhole league. And when she's not conjuring up jaw-dropping designs, Ashley digs a good camping trip, playing volleyball and running.
